Good Shepherd Church…
is a group of individuals with various backgrounds, occupations, and personalities, who are united in Christ. We gather on Sunday to seek and worship God. Some are close to Him, some want to know Him better, and others are just checking things out.
Anyone is welcome here, no matter what.
Good Shepherd Church is a place where you can come no matter your walk in life and realize that Jesus loves you, Jesus wants a personal relationship with you, and Jesus has a great plan for your life. At Good Shepherd, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been in church your whole life or you’ve never darkened the doors of the church, we would love to have you join us.
We don’t focus on what people wear, how they look, or how much money they make. We focus on who God is and how we can know Him better. Our atmosphere is casual, the messages are meaningful, and the people are friendly. Whether you are just curious about Christianity, or have been in church all your life, at Good Shepherd Church you will find that you can relate to God in a meaningful way, and experience authentic relationships with people who care about you.

Our pastor, Scott Graham, is passionate about life and helping people meet and follow Jesus Christ. Each week he shares God’s word and how it applies practically in our daily lives. He is a gifted communicator and teacher, speaking the truth as plainly as possible. Scott believes in being real and what you see is what you get.
He has been around. With over 20 years of ministry, Scott has a wide variety of experience. He has traveled as an evangelist, served as a children’s pastor, a church planter and a sr. pastor in an established church.
In addition to serving as our pastor, Scott and his wife Amanda have an event planning business, assisting clients all over the United States with their conferences and conventions. He also is the Executive Director of the Community Foundation in Chillicothe, assisting donors to carry out their philanthropic desires in our community..
Scott has been part of Southern Ohio life since 1993 and has been very involved in many community events, including directing the Impact World Tour and local events for Ohio’s Bicentennial in 2003.
When he is not studying, speaking, planning a conference or working with a philanthropist, you might find Scott watching Chillicothe Paints baseball, drinking a diet Mt. Dew (never coffee) and eating Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or Tastykake’s Butterscotch Krimpets (because the calories offset) or maybe be working on his massive collection of Hotel Key cards.
Amanda is passionate about serving alongside Scott and the folks of Good Shepherd in reaching people for Jesus. She’s served in many various church leadership positions over the years. Currently, at Good Shepherd, she leads a Bible Study for women, organizes community outreach events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Harvest Party, helps Scott prepare media for services and assists him in leading Wednesday evening Bible Study and works with various ministry leaders on their projects.
She has a degree in Human Ecology, with a specialization in Family Finance, from The Ohio State University. Though she doesn’t work in the field anymore, she still loves helping people figure out how to manage their finances in a Biblical way.
Some of Amanda’s favorite things (in no particular order) are over-sized hoodies, peperoni and mushroom pizza, American and British history, Gone with the Wind (the movie), Wikipedia and curling up under a blanket in a comfy chair with a good book. If there isn’t a sweet tea in her hand, there is almost always one nearby.
Scott and Amanda live in the boonies of southern Ohio with their dog Samson.
