Who we are
We are a diverse community of people from all kinds of backgrounds, beliefs and walks of life. No matter who you are or where you’ve been, you are welcome at Grace.
We believe the Bible to be uniquely inspired by God, without error, and to be the final authority on all matters on which it bears. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of deity. (John 1:14, John 14:16-17)
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth, sinless life, vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return to earth. (Colossians 2:9)
We believe that all humankind matters immensely and equally to God, and that God created humanity to be in relationship with Himself but that relationship was forever broken when sin entered our world. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23)
We believe that Jesus Christ voluntarily paid the price for all sin, and whosoever would repent and invite Christ to be their Savior shall have eternal life. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9)
We believe salvation comes only through God's saving grace, not by any human effort, but is the result of repentance, confession, and faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the church and that the Holy Spirit fills the lives of those who have received Christ as their Savior and Lord. It is this filling of a person's life that enables them to live a life pleasing God. (Colossions 1:18, Romans 8:9)
We believe that one day Christ shall literally return from heaven in a visible and personal way, and that this return is the hope of His church. (Hebrews 9:28)

Blessed Lord, open our ears to hear what Thou speakest and our eyes to see as Thou seest. Give us hearts to beat in sympathy with Thine at the sight of every little child; and above all, our Lord, to understand and experience how surely and how blessedly Thou fulfilest Thy promise, "Whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."
