Who we are
Grandview Assembly of God - a Place To Raise, Build, And Encourage People.
Join us for worship this Sunday at 11 am. We meet in Natural Dam, AR at 14542 North Hwy. 59 – 72948 and have a parking space just for you.
You can expect friendly people and an atmosphere where you are free to worship Jesus!
Here you will meet farmers, ranchers, business owners, retail workers, teachers, lawyers, stay at home moms, and people from all walks of life in our rural church. We strive to be welcoming to every single person who enters our door…and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome YOU soon.
Our services include singing, giving, prayer, and preaching from God’s Word, the Bible. We are an Assemblies of God church (pentecostal), which means we believe in being Spirit-led and Spirit-filled. The gifts of the Spirit will be active in our services, making it a lively engaging experience for you…but don’t worry, we don’t force anyone to be just like us.
We believe you will see the difference and feel the difference when you are in the presence of the Lord.

Leader Bio:
Hi, I’m Larry Shankle. Here is a little about me.
I am a pastor, author, and Christian blogger.
My wife Amanda and I live in Rudy, Arkansas with our two amazing boys Braxton and Dawson.
Amanda and I were high school sweethearts that have now been married for almost 20 years. Our family is one of the most important things to us. When we aren’t busy serving our church, doing homeschool, or writing books, we are spending our time camping, hiking, drinking coffee and loving the family God has blessed us with.
Several years ago, God gave my wife and I the opportunity to adopt our boys. Every single day we are so very thankful for them. We tell them often that we are so thankful Jesus gave them to us. Through the adoption process, God showed us his love, mercy, and grace. We learned even more deeply that the Lord has a plan for every individual person.
When I was nineteen years old I felt a calling to pursue ministry.
I’ve spent two decades now in active local church ministry serving in multiple leadership roles; the last seven and a half of which, have been as Lead Pastor of GrandviewChurch in Natural Dam, AR.
Our church is a rural church that serves our community with the love of Jesus. We have a desire to reach our full kingdom potential and fulfill the plans God has for us.
My top mission in life is to raise, build, and encourage people to be all they can be through the power of Jesus Christ in their life.
I believe you have a powerful purpose that can and should be expressed. When you do, you will find fulfillment, joy, and a sense of peace. In fact, that is the reason behind my blog and the books I’ve authored. I want to help people build their faith, increase their influence, and find their purpose in life.
My deep, personal faith is what changed my life. It gave me a sense of purpose and calling that, over the years, has increased my influence. God has allowed me the opportunity to tell other people about his love for them and the great plan he has for each and every person. I never intend to stop doing this.
