Who we are
Great Shelford Free Church is in the High Street of Great Shelford, a village about 5 miles south of Cambridge UK.
We warmly welcome you to our Sunday morning service, which starts at 10:30 am, and is an opportunity to find out more about Jesus as we worship God together.
The service lasts approximately an hour and a quarter. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to get to know one another over a cuppa.
We also get together at other times during the week for various activities, to enjoy fellowship, support, prayer and worship as a body.
Our Vision
We seek to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with our local community and the world around us as we are led by the Holy Spirit and in accordance with Christ’s “Great Commission.”
We seek to be a place where all including the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.
We welcome members into the fellowship of our Church family – loving, learning, laughing, weeping with those who weep and living in harmony together.
We seek to develop people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, and worship.
We seek to equip every believer for ministry by helping them discover the Gifts and Talents God has given them.
We want to send believers out into the community, and indeed the world, as missionaries and Church workers and empower our members for a personal life of mission.
We believe this Vision will become reality, as it has been inspired by God and we seek its fulfilment through our Prayers and Obedience to the Great Commission and Great Commandment of Jesus.
