Led by the choirs of Great St Mary's with frequent outstanding visiting preachers. With children's church for children of primary school age and crèche for younger children. On the third Sunday of the month, the service takes the form of an all age communion service.
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Choral Mattins
Sung by the choirs of Great St Mary's, twice a term the University Sermon is preached during this service. Great St Mary's has a longstanding tradition of excellent preaching, and the main Sunday sermon is usually preached at Mattins. The times are noisy and my ears are weary with the thousand raucous sounds which continuously assault them. Give me the spirit of the boy Samuel when he said to Thee, "Speak, for Thy servant heareth." Let me hear Thee speaking in my heart.
