Who we are
Mission Statement: To be alive in God's love and to give it away.
Vision Statement: It is our belief that God is calling this church to be a vibrant family of believers who actively seek to have Him reveal Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit in our midst. worship Him in Spirit and in Truth allowing for the freedom of the Spirit and encouraging the diligent study of scripture. seek to impact our local community with the power of the gospel of a risen savior in both word and deed. actively disciple new believers and to grow His Kingdom both numerically and in spiritual depth
Values:
As a church be believe we should endeavor to authentically represent Jesus Christ as the manifest person of the Godhead to all who observe us by recognizing that:
The Christian is a daily expression of Faith Our faith should be transforming the community around us. Our relationship with God should be reflected in everything we do and say. Need to regularly explore practical applications of our faith (marriage, parenting, work etc). We expect God to manifest Himself in our lives, personally and corporately. We are a family, whom support and encourage each other. We want to provide opportunities for people to connect with one another in a meaningful way. We need to ensure that we are welcoming to new people. Our fellowship should be a place of acceptance, where we can share our challenges safely. We want to deal with conflict constructively. We want to provide high quality programmes for our children and young adults. Spiritual gifts are for everyone and manifest in everyone We want to be a church where all the various gifts are flourishing We are a church that is built on the ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers( Eph 4:11-12). We endorse team leadership Christ is the head of this body. We want every person to look to God for himself or herself. We recognize that leadership of any group of people is necessary and that leadership is a gift. Team leadership is an important scriptural model as no one member of any fellowship has all the gifting needed for the fellowship to authentically represents Jesus to the community. Team leadership also endorses persons working together in unity rather than a one person as 'commander' approach. Freedom of expression is important in both worship and fellowship We are keen to preserve freedom of expression and contribution in our meetings and encourage members to listen to and share what they believe God is saying, and to actively listen to each other We are not a programme driven church.

Grant me, O Lord...
Grant me, O Lord, to know what I ought to know,to love what I ought to love, to praise what delights Thee most, to value what is precious in Thy sight, to hate what is offensive to Thee. Do not suffer me to judge according to the sight of my eyes, nor to pass sentence according to the hearing of the ears of ignorant men; but to discern with a true judgment between things visible and spiritual, and above all, always to inquire what is the good pleasure of Thy will.
