Who we are
Listening to God’s calling, Tim, Xenia and their young family, moved from South Africa to pioneer a church in Auckland. They arrived in 1996 and started the church in their home.
The church grew rapidly and, in 2003, Horizon was able to buy some land and build their own new space.
At Horizon, we believe God has fresh waves of His Presence for our nation. That’s why we are passionate about creating space for our people to encounter His Presence, experience the Kingdom culture and be transformed by the joy and freedom He brings.

Hi I’m Tim, and along with my wife Xenia, are the senior leaders of Horizon Church. I have been in ministry for 30 years and am passionate about the local church and live to see the Kingdom demonstrated with signs, wonders and miracles. I have two wonderful married sons and six amazing grandchildren. I love surfing, golf and music.
