Who we are
King Street Chapel has been serving the West Exe area of Tiverton for more than 100 years.
We are an independent evangelical congregation. We are the members of the Evangelical Alliance, and of Partnership (a network of churches similar to ourselves.)
We believe that the scriptures should be authoritative for our faith and conduct. We are committed to love for one another, evangelistic outreach and practical Christian service to each other and the community.
We aim for:
Lively worship, led by our worship group Lively and relevant Biblical teaching, by our members and others Wide use of spiritual gift in the congregation to build it up.
Our home groups play an important part in encouraging fellowship, prayer and Bible study.
Our Vision is, under God, to be a vibrant growing church:
Meeting the People Sharing the message Living the word
The Church Leadership Team gives strategic and day-to-day leadership to the congregation and organises pastoral care. We have three part – time staff workers, but we encourage wide exercise of spiritual gift by all members. The various activities of the church are led by leadership groups and by individuals.

Inspire my thoughts
Holy Spirit of God, visit now this soul of mine, and tarry within it until the eventide. Inspire all my thoughts. Pervade all my imaginations. Suggest all my decisions. Lodge in my soul's most inward citadel, and order all my doings. Be with me in silence and in my speech, in my haste and in my leisure, in company and in solitude, in the freshness of the morning and the weariness of the evening. Give me grace at all times to rejoice in Thy mysterious companionship.
