Who we are
Life Christian Church was established in 2004 as a result of the vision Peter and Kerrie Shurley received to plant a church in the North West Coast region of Tasmania. Prior to planting the church, Peter toured internationally for many years as one of Australias most popular Gospel recording artists.
Originally founded in Forth, Tasmania, the church immediately experienced rapid numerical growth soon outgrowing the local hall that served as the original venue for Sunday services. Now after 10 years Life Christian Church finds itself placed in the Ulverstone area, a short distance from its place of origin and has recently expanded by planting a new church campus in the rapidly growing area of Port Sorell, Tasmania. Life Christian Church continues to be a growing and community impacting church in both the Ulverstone and Port Sorell areas.

Dear God, help my unbelief. When I'm in pain, I forget that you care about me. I forget that you have helped me through my trials. I forget that you hold me in your arms to keep me safe. I forget that you are feeling my pain with me. I forget that you love me, I forget that I am important to you. Show me your presence - let me feel your enveloping love. Heal my hurting soul.
