Who we are
Welcome to Morrisville United Methodist Church! Located just south of Bealeton, Virginia adjacent to Route 17, this congregation has been active in our community since before the Civil War. Our worship services are held at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings. They include a wide variety of music, a special time for children (followed by children's church for the remainder of the worship service), and communion on the first Sunday of each month. We offer a staffed nursery for infants and toddlers during worship; and we have Sunday School available for children, youth and adults following worship.
On the second Sunday of each month, there is a fellowship breakfast preceding worship that is prepared by the men of the congregation and is open to all. The breakfast is served from 9:00 am to 9:40 am. On the fourth Sunday of each month, there is a time of food and fellowship following worship. On fourth Sundays we do not have Sunday School.
There is no "dress code" for worship-- you will find that our small, but growing, congregation wears clothing that ranges from casual (jeans and t-shirts) to more formal (suit jacket and tie, or dresses and skirts). We encourage you to check the "What's Happening" tab for a list of some of the upcoming events in our church.

Leader Bio:
Pastor Beth grew up in the United Methodist churches that her father served as a pastor. Although she felt a call (or a "God nudge") to ministry by the time she was in junior high school, she resisted that sense for years. With no intention of becoming a pastor, she graduated from Dickinson College (Carlisle, PA) and worked in Human Resources for several years at a large financial corporation. However, eventually, the "God nudge" became so strong that she gave into it and began to serve as a pastor. She graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary (Washington, DC) and has been serving congregations throughout the country for over twenty years. Pastor Beth and her family are excited to be at Morrisville. Beth is married to Mike, who is retired from the United States Marine Corps as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer. Together, they have five sons, three daughters-in-law and seven grandchildren. Â
