Who we are
Mossman Assemblies of God Church, is located at the foot of the spectacular Mossman Gorge rain forest in far North Queensland. We are a family friendly, vibrant, contemporary Church; with a long history of working with local & Indigenous communities, both in Mossman and the Cape York peninsula.
We are a Bible based Church, operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and believing in the power of prayer for healing.
Our mission statement is to preach the gospel to all peoples and to show the love of Jesus to all; including our local community of Mossman, Queensland.
Adjacent to our Church, and on part of the beautiful extensive grounds, we also have a aged 50+ retirement village; housing ten two-bedroom units, in a friendly atmosphere.
Come along and be blessed!
SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES
We are Bible based Church, believing in the power of prayer for healing and working in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Our Church is family friendly, offering a Church service every Sunday morning at 9:30am.
We always partake in Communion during the service.
At the back of the open-planned Church, there is an area for young children to play with toys or maybe do some colouring in, while parents are still able to listen to the service.
Services generally finish by 10:45am/11:00am, where we then would love you to stay and have a cup of tea or coffee, along with some morning tea.
Fellowship after the service, is a great way for us to say hello and get to know you.
If you need prayer or council, please see the Pastor after the service, who will be more than happy to pray with you.
WEDNESDAY EVENING FELLOWSHIP
Every Wednesday evening during the school term, we hold a combined dinner & the Pastor or others will share a Bible reading and a message.
Whoever would like to, are welcome to bring a plate of food to share and enjoy fellowship together for the evening.
This is a wonderful way of getting to know your new family in Christ.
We start at 6:00pm and generally finish by 7:30pm.

I ask for...
I ask you neither for health nor for sickness, for life nor for death; but that you may dispose of my health and my sickness, my life and my death, for your glory... You alone know what is expedient for me; you are the sovereign master, do with me according to your will. Give to me, or take away from me, only conform my will to yours. I know but one thing, Lord, that it is good to follow you, and bad to offend you. Apart from that, I know not what is good or bad in anything. I know not which is most profitable to me, health or sickness, wealth or poverty, nor anything else in the world. That discernment is beyond the power of men or angels, and is hidden among the secrets of your providence, which I adore, but do not seek to fathom.
