Leader Bio:
Rankin grew up near New Orleans. He worked in corporate banking for five years before deciding to become a pastor. After his training at Princeton Theological Seminary, Rankin was Minister of Teaching and Missions at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga. He likes the fact that Los Angeles is a town that turns around the idea of story and the need for a redemptive ending. Rankin enjoys most any sport, poetry (especially Robert Frost), and music (especially Bruce Springsteen). He is married to Morgen and they have three children: Jack, Emi Bea, and Will.

Pacific Crossroads Church History
Pacific Crossroads Church began as a prayer group and Bible study on the Westside of Los Angeles in 1999. In 2006, while flourishing and growing even without official leadership, Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City invested in Pacific Crossroads in the hope that it could become a gospel-centered resource church to love and serve the city of Los Angeles.
It was then that Rankin Wilbourne became the pastor of Pacific Crossroads, to “re-plant” the church. Since that time, the church has continued to see growth that has allowed it to begin a series of new church plants, with the first in the Pasadena region of the San Gabriel Valley. With 90 community groups and hundreds of volunteers serving through Hope for LA, the mercy and justice arm of our church, we continue in the hope of our vision to see lives transformed by God’s power, renewing Los Angeles for Christ.
