Travel/Direction Tips
Depart Deer Lake on Highway 430 north to St. Anthony on the Northern Peninsula. At Wiltondale turn left on Highway 431 towards Woody Point.
The Church of the Ascension in Wiltondale is no longer used, and the Church was deconsecrated in 2005 when it became beyond repair. Currently services of worship are held monthly in various homes.
About 25 km from Wiltondale you come to the communities of Birchy Head, Glenburnie, and Shoal Brook. The Church of the Resurrection is in Birchy Head right next to the Highway, on the left, just past the Pentecostal Church.
Continuing along Highway 431 you come to the community of Winter House Brook. Just past this community to Highway takes a left turn. If you continue straight you will be in the community of Woody Point. Along Main Street you will see Epiphany Anglican Church on the Right and the Rectory on the left.
Turning left and continuing on Highway 431 brings you to the community of Trout River. Keeping to the right at the 'T' you follow Main Street through the town to the Church of St. Jude and St. Simon on the right. Â
