The House Of Prayer began in Sulligent Alabama, in a remodeled home donated by a local resident, Ms. Sara Goode a church member. The church started in 1992 as a result of Pastor Hurst being sent there to set up prayer meetings and eventually forming a church. The church relocated to Tuscaloosa Alabama.
Pastor Hurst has preached in numerous of places. With the lumzy ministry in places such as New Jersey, Mississippi, and Brent and many more and jails across Alabama.
