Who we are
VISION: To be a growing Christian community, expressing the love, joy, peace and hope of God.
MISSION: We are committed to encouraging all people to take life-changing steps in their journey with God.
WHAT DO WE VALUE?
LIFE We think life should be lived to the full. Everyone should be able to experience the full joy that comes from a full life but we know that life can also throw us challenging circumstances and difficulty. One of the reasons a church exists is to support and encourage each other as we ‘do life’ together.
FAMILY Family, for many of us, is often foremost in our thoughts and a source of great joy. Family is an important part of what we stand for and what we seek to support. Equally our church community has an important role in creating a ‘family’ atmosphere for each person who comes into contact with us. BELONGING We believe that everyone is on a journey but that different people will be at different stages of that journey at different times. We encourage ‘belonging before belief’. This means that we need to reach out and be accepting of people who, for a variety of reasons, may not always be aligned completely with everything we believe. DIVERSITY We promote respect for each individual and each generation. We encourage people to be accepting of others and to warmly embrace those who need some special encouragement.

Driving Directions to Romaine Park Christian Centre
Travel/Direction Tips
How to get there from the western area (Cooee, Somerset, Wynyard, etc.)
Travel east on the Bass Highway to the first set of traffic lights - West park on the right and and a sports ground on the left. Go straight ahead to a second set of traffic lights - go straight ahead, go under two overpass roads, taking the right lane. At the next set of traffic lights turn right into Mount St - a sign will show the road as B18.Whilst waiting for the lights, set your trip meter to zero. Head up the hill; there will be a speed restriction at 1.5 kms as you go into the Upper Burnie shopping area. A 60 km sign is at the top of the hill. Go down the other side until you see Roslyn Avenue - 2.4kms - on the left. Travel along Roslyn Avenue to the first roundabout, then turn right. RPCC is then on your right about 200 metres along. Your odometer then should read 3 kms. Plenty of off the street parking is on the left of the main building.
How to get there from the eastern area (Penguin, Ulverstone, Devonport, etc.)
Travel west on the Bass Highway to Burnie. Keep to the left lane. Turn left into Mount Street just before the fifth set of traffic lights (turn left with care - Ridgley/Queenstown B18 Highway turn off). Set your trip meter to zero then. Empower me
Empower me to be a bold participant, rather than a timid saint in waiting; to exercise authority of honesty, rather than to defer to power or deceive to get it; to influence someone for justice, rather than impress anyone for gain; and by grace, to find treasures of joy, of friendship, of peace hidden in the fields you give me daily to plow.
