The mission of Sonrise Christian Center Skagit is the same mission Jesus gave His followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I comanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Mathew 28:19-20

The vision of Sonrise Christian Center Skagit is to create and equip a community of authentic believers and to witness a valley transformed by the life changing power of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Mike and Jami Stansberry have been serving in many different areas of ministry for about 17 years before planting Sonrise Skagit. God invited them to plant a church in the Skagit Valley and they responded to that call with their five children. God has given them peace, comfort, healing, and purpose through all that Jesus has done for them and they want to deliver that same good news to the people of the Skagit Valley.
They believe that God’s love for people is demonstrated in the life of Jesus and His power is released when you respond to Him. God has given them vision for a Spirit-filled church to reach the lost and unchurched. They are equipping and releasing believers into the community. They love the people that God has called them to and have already seen God’s power released to bring restoration, hope, reconciliation, peace, and comfort to many. They would love to meet you in person and have you join us at a worship service. Â
