The purpose statement of St Augustine's church: Transforming minds in order to change lives through worship, teaching, caring and evangelism.
OUR PEOPLE
The church has a CHURCH COUNCIL elected by the congregation. They are responsible for the governance of the church. We have a team of preachers who deliver sermons in their own style. Our Services of Holy Communion are lead by Revd. Laurence New.
We are part of a larger COMMUNION
St. Augustine's church is part of the Free Church of England. Our worship normally follows liturgy in the Anglican style. We are part of the Northern Diocese of the Free church of England.

St Augustine's Church, Douglas, Isle of Man
Overview of St Augustine's church The church came into being at Easter 2016, when disaffected members of the local Anglican churches met for the first time. On the 20th January 2020 we changed from being an independent Anglican church, to a member of the Northern Dioceses of the Free Church of England.
The church is a limited company No. 130489C under Manx law and is a registered Isle of Man charity No. 2003
The company directors and others form the Church Council which has responsibility for the day to day running of the church.
