Answer: Messy Church Together Something different for the 5th Sunday of the month when we explore a theme together. There is a chance to chat over what the bible is saying, there are things to make an do, there is worship and refreshments - all in a fun setting. Every fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.   Baptism Service A chance to celebrate and give thanks as family and friends for the new arrival. A chance to have fun praising God with songs, instruments and flags. A chance to proclaim the start of a new Christian life. A great event for all the family. Every first Sunday at 11:30 AM for ¾ hour   Friday Friends Friday Friends is a time of fun and friends with singing together and circle dance.There are informative talks, creative activities and entertainment and tea and cake to enjoy. Friday at 2:00 PM for 2 hours   Sunday The 8am - Early Service A quiet, reflective,liturgical yet friendly service to start the day in God's presence. We sit together at the front of the church, there is a short address on the readings for the day, and time for reflection. The service includes an older style liturgy for Holy Communion and on the first Sunday Morning Prayer. Coffee is served between the end of this service around 9am and the 9.30 service so that the church community can meet together. Except when All Together United Parish Service is held. Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 50 minutes The 9.30 A chance to become more aware of the reality and increasing presence of God together. There are times of silence, worship, testimony, healing and an address. We aim to listen to what God is saying and respond to it. We aim to experience the presence of God through Word, Spirit and Sacrament in a service that is both Charismatic and Liturgical. The service includes Holy Communion on a least 3 Sundays each month an important moment when we come together before God and receive from God,allowing time to be touched by the living God among us. Once a month there is an in- depth exploration of a passage of scripture through which we allow God to meet with us and minister to us. Services frequently contain times of ministry in the power of the holy spirit - laying on of hands and anointing. Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes. We then put what we have discovered into action by listening to God and letting the Holy Spirit move among us in power. Every first Sunday at 7:00 PM for 1½ hours Tuesday Cool Club (held at The Cornwell Centre) An after-school club for 5-7's with fun, games, craft and Bible stories. This is part of the Parish Children and Youthwork programme. Held at the Cornwell Centre. Weekly during term time Every Tuesday at 4:30 PM for 1 hour Wednesday Ecumenical Prayer Alternating with the same event at St.Joseph's Catholic Church in Berkshire Drive - a chance to unite in prayer and worship Alternate venues Wednesday at 9:30 AM for ½ hour Thursday Midday Worship A short informal service with a brief discussion on the days readings. Every Thursday at 12:00 PM for ½ hour Lunch Time Open to all. Soup, sandwich and a roll, cakes and drinks in a friendly atmosphere. There is a chance to receive prayer for Healing and other need. Every Thursday at 12:30 PM for ¾ hour Friday Friday Friends Friday Friends is a chance to meet with other people from the local community for fun and friendship. We enjoy some songs and circle dance, have interesting talks, enjoy tea and cake and watch a film or two., Friday at 2:00 PM for 2 hours Friday Friends Friday Friends is a time of fun and friends with singing together and circle dance.There are informative talks, creative activities and entertainment and tea and cake to enjoy. Friday at 2:00 PM for 2 hours GLuG (The God loves you gang) For children aged 8-11. Games, craft and activities with a Christian perspective plus trips and 'Saturday specials'. We aim to give Children an environment in which to discover God. Weekly in term time Every Friday at 6:00 PM for 1½ hours
