Who we are
We are a warm and welcoming community and very happy to meet newcomers! Some of our congregation are new arrivals to St. Francis', and some have been members for many decades. We have many multigenerational families, which we believe demonstrates the depth of our commitment to our faith family. We use the Book of Common Prayer, Rite I in our services. Everything you'll need to know is conveniently printed out and provided for you in your pew. You'll know when to stand, when to sit, and how to respond to the liturgy. And if you have any questions, someone sitting next to you will be happy to help! At each service, we have readings from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the Psalms, and we sing traditional hymns. There is Communion at every service, and if you are a baptized Christian you are welcome to participate. If you'd rather not receive Communion and would just like a blessing, come on up to the altar rail with everyone else and just cross your arms across your chest. That's the signal for Father Thomas to bless you! Please come and see for yourself what St. Francis' can offer. Meet us, join with us in our community service projects and our many annual events -- like the Blessing of the Pets, the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, the Fall Bonfire, and many more -- and decide if the St. Francis' Family is for you!

Abide with us
O Holy Spirit of God, abide with us; inspire all our thoughts; pervade our imaginations; suggest all our decisions; order all our doings. Be with us in our silence and in our speech, in our haste and in our leisure, in company and in solitude, in the freshness of the morning and in the weariness of the evening; and give us grace at all times humbly to rejoice in Thy mysterious companionship.
