Father Mihai has served our parish since its founding in 1995. He received his theological education at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Bucharest, Romania, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1990. Under his spiritual guidance, our community has grown and flourished, preserving Romanian Orthodox traditions while welcoming people from all backgrounds.

Parish History
Saint George and Saint Dimitrie the New Romanian Orthodox Church was founded in 1995 to serve the growing Romanian Orthodox community in Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
Over the years, our parish has grown from a small group of faithful to a vibrant community that preserves Romanian Orthodox traditions while welcoming people from all backgrounds.
In 2021, we celebrated our 25th anniversary with special services and events, receiving recognition from church hierarchs and civic leaders for our contributions to the community.
Saint George and Saint Dimitrie the New Romanian Orthodox Church was founded in 1995 to serve the growing Romanian Orthodox community in Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
