St Gregory's Service Times
Sunday
8am Eucharist (Common Worship: Order 2)
A quiet and reflective Eucharist with a short homily. The service is said in traditional language, which gives it a timeless character and invites the worshiper week by week into God's unchanging presence.
Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
10 am Eucharist (Common Worship: Order 1)
A welcoming and contemporary service of Holy Communion with a choir and hymns. Each sunday changes a little with the turning year as we trace the pattern of Jesus life, remember the saints and emphasize different themes of Jesus ministry and mission. In this service we are strengthened in faith, share in God's love and life, and and drawn together as a spiritual community.
Every first third and fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Service
A non-eucharistic service for all the family
Every second Sunday at 10:00 AM for 50 minutes
Family Eucharist
Every fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Wednesday
Wednesday Church
St. Gregory's Primary School join us for their weekly service, accompanied by parents who have stopped for a post drop-off coffee and chat. The children lead with reading and singing and the weekly gospel is either enacted or becomes the focus of a dramatic reflection. All are welcome and can come also for a coffee before or after.
Term Time Only
Wednesday at 9:15 AM for ½ hour
11 am Eucharist (Common Worship: Order 2)
A quiet mid-week Eucharist held in the 'choir' of the church with a nano-sermon after the gospel. Traditional language and silence make this service an ideal time to reflect, to retreat and to be renewed through communion with God.
Every first Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour
Saturday
Healing Prayer Ministry
We have a team who meets in church to pray with anyone for any situation. Confidentiality is of paramount importance. All members of the team possess Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
