St James in Canon Frome, Herefordshire is a Christian congregation serving the Canon Frome community and seeking, engaging, and encouraging others through a life-changing Christian journey.
We seek to be a loving, friendly community that worships God, and serves others. We place a high priority on teaching from the Bible and following the example of Jesus.
Our vision is to impact and renew Canon Frome and beyond with the transforming message of Jesus Christ through words and actions.

Stop Press! Our service of morning prayer is to be transformed into a Family Service format from October 2008. We hope to encourage as many local families as possible to join us - all ages are welcome for this less formal service - we don't mind children's happy chatter - the Lord loves it! Lots of songs of Praise and a happy, social event. To be launched in time for Harvest - 5th October 2008. Please note new time! 10.00 - 11.00, which we hope will be family-friendly!

With us night and morning
By gracious powers so wonderfully sheltered, and confidently waiting come what may, we know that God is with us night and morning, and never fails to greet us each new day. Yet is this heart by its old foe tormented, still evil days bring burdens hard to bear; Oh, give our frightened souls the sure salvation for which, O Lord, You taught us to prepare. And when this cup You give is filled to brimming with bitter suffering, hard to understand, we take it thankfully and without trembling, out of so good and so beloved a hand. Yet when again in this same world You give us the joy we had, the brightness of Your Sun, we shall remember all the days we lived through, and our whole life shall then be Yours alone.
