Who we are
Welcome to St. John UCC, the Church on the Park! We offer a traditional worship service with a modern message led by our pastor of 10 years, Jeffrey Phillips at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday. Sunday School for all youth aged preschool through high school is held after the Children's Sermon in our service. Nursery care is also available for children up to age 3 during the service. After our service, coffee and snacks are always served in our Fellowship Hall. Communion services are held on the 1st Sunday of each month and on holidays and other special occasions. At St. John, all people are welcome (and we really mean it here!).
We are a member of the United Church of Christ (UCC), a liberal Protestant denomination that has a long history of a long history of accepting varying ideas and opinions. We at St. John do the same. As a sign of our diversity, St. John is an Open and Affirming (ONA) church, which seeks to incorporate our LGBT* brothers and sisters into the full life of the church.
