St John the Evangelist Service Times
Sunday
Holy Communion
A quieter more traditional service, usually Holy Communion lasting about 45 minutes
Sunday at 9:00 AM for ¾ hour
Morning Service
This is the best service to come to if you are new to St. John’s or to church generally. There will be people present at all stages of their faith journey, some are agnostic, some are finding out more about Jesus, right up to those who have been followers of Jesus for many years.
The service usually lasts about 80 minutes and refreshments are available in the hall afterwards. We usually celebrate communion twice a month and on the first Sunday of each month all age groups worship together.
Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Evening Service
Café-style worship & teaching in the church centre next to the main church building. A smaller service aimed mainly at those who are already Christians.
This service runs most weeks but may stop during school holidays, including half terms. To check, just give us a ring first.
Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Thursday
Morning Service
This is usually Holy Communion. Followed by refreshments in the church hall.
The service doesn't always run during school holidays so you may like to check it's on first during those times.
Thursday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour
It's been more than 7 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Forgive us
O God, forgive the poverty and the pettiness of our prayers . Listen not to our words but to the yearnings of our hearts. Hear beneath our petitions the crying of our need.
