St John the Evangelist Service Times
Easter Family Service, Passion play and Egg Hunt
We have a service driven by and for our kids. They tell the Easter story in their way, sing to us and say prayers. To reward them for all that hard work we hold an 'Easter Egg Hunt' around the church and churchyard after the service - All comers welcome - to either or both
Yearly at Easter at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Songs of Praise
We have a Songs of Praise Service every month on the 3rd Sunday of the month. This is usually themed with villagers introducing each favourite hymn.
Every third Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Lunch Club
We have a Lunch Club on the second Thursday of every month (started in August 2007) where for a nominal amount you can get a 2-course dinner. Pre-booking essential.

Family Service
A simple but fun service for all ages to enjoy. The 'Family' is all of us on God's earth so no problem if you don't have any kiddies or parents, we'll adopt you. We normally do a small drama or junior choir song within the service.

Listen, my friend! Your helplessness is your best prayer. It calls from your heart to the heart of God with greater effect than all your uttered pleas. He hears it from the very moment that you are seized with helplessness, and He becomes actively engaged at once in hearing and answering the prayer of your helplessness.
