St John the Evangelist is serving the Welwyn Garden City community and engaging and encouraging others through a life-changing journey in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Our mission is to nurture a diverse and welcoming community, committed to following fearlessly wherever God is leading us and make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of Welwyn Garden City and the world!

St John the Evangelist Service Times

Healing Service
At 6pm - a wonderful opportunity to take time to be with God in our busy lives and receive His healing and renewal. The service lasts half an hour or so with the offering of anointing with the holy oils. Relaxing, lovely Taize music...a real joy.
COME AND JOIN US.
Everyone is welcome. The service will be followed by light refreshments.
Every last Sunday at 6:00 PM for ½ hour

The day when we remember Mary's visit to her cousin Elizabeth. An early morning Eucharist to celebrate this special occasion.

Garden Party with cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and games at Selina and Hedley’s

Join in the fun and enter a competition
1. Create a hat for the Queen.
2. Men’s Victoria sponge cake competition (ladies judging) -
The sponge must be made to a three egg recipe, filled only with strawberry or raspberry jam and dusted with caster sugar.
Are you the Digswell Parish Bake Off Champion?
3. brush up your hidden Alan Titchmarsh and design a minature Garden Party on a plate. The plate must be no more than 30 cms in diameter
4. Hunt the corgi round the garden....how many can you find?
50p entrance fee for each completion...prizes will be awarded.

Joint service with Christ the King (CtK) and Digswell Village Church (DVC) at DVC. An informal time of praise and worship once a month for everyone in the parish.
