Leader Bio:
I was brought up to go to church, and, as they say “believed in the virgin birth before I knew what a virgin was”. At around fourteen years old some people I knew went through a transformation. They were different in a great way, and I knew that the power for this transformation did not come from their willpower, upbringing, or situation. They had a relationship with Jesus that I did not have, and it affected their whole lives. To cut a long story short, I asked Jesus to forgive my sins, and asked Him into my life to be in charge.
Since then, as with everyone, life has thrown its joys and sorrows at me. But the powerful transformation that God has worked in my life has made all of the difference. The outrageously gracious love that I have experienced has changed, and is changing me all of the time.
After a career in computing, I felt God’s call to become a Vicar/Rector. After many years in a white collar in both rural and urban parishes, our Lord called me to this benefice where I'm now the Rector of Crick, Yelvertoft with Clay Coton and Lilbourne.

St. Margaret of Antioch Church History
Crick parish church is St Margaret of Antioch. The Domesday book records that there was a Christian presence in the village.
There has been a church on the site of St Margaret’s since about 700AD, when the first Saxon church was built beside the ancient road which went from Oxford to Leicester.
Therefore, many generations have worshipped here and enjoyed the characterful beauty and tranquility of the present building, much of which dates from the late 12th/early 13th century.
The passing years meant that the fragile Hartshill stone that was used to face the building began to deteriorate and crumble until the building was in need of urgent repair. The stonework of the tower had started to crumble and five of the windows had become in such a poor state that, without remedial action, they would have had to be boarded up.
A small group of dedicated local people raised the half a million pounds needed to achieve this restoration and the church once again stands proudly within its mellow, cared-for churchyard. Even the bells are ringing once again!

God's Promise
Jesus gave His life so that you do not have to carry your burden. He knows this burden hinders you from having eternal life. He knows your sin burden hinders you from living the abundant life that God created you to live. He knows your sin hinders you from experiencing joy and peace that has no bounds and hinders you from receiving all that God has promised and created you to receive.
You just have to ask.
