We seek to be a loving, friendly community that worships God, and serves others. We place a high priority on teaching from the Bible and following the example of Jesus.

St Martin Service Times

Sunday
"Explore" Family Service
Our Family Service on 1st Sunday of each month, aimed at all ages. A theme each month.
Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for 50 minutes
Regular Sunday Service - 'Encounter' Service or 'Engage ' service
A weekly Service (apart from 1st Sunday of month, see other listing), using different resources from 'Common Worship' according to the season. The Encounter service during the month, incorporates Holy Communion.
Part way through the service, children aged 3 to 11 are invited to go to the hall for their own groups.
Communion is included on 2nd and 4th Sunday's - and the children's groups return in time for Communion on these occasions,
on other weeks, the service is called "Engage" and the children return for the end of the service. Visiting children are most welcome to join them, or to stay in church as they feel most comfortable. Do go along with your child if you would like to see what they do. Apart from Communion, the services listed here are fairly similar

Tea, Coffee and Doughnuts
Following the main Sunday service we serve refreshments (usually tea, coffee, soft drinks and doughnuts. A great opportunity to share fellowship and have a chat with everyone. There is a service afterwards, of Holy Communion. - usually on 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays

Short Holy Communion Service
A short said Holy Communion, held on 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday's of a month
Every first third and fifth Sunday at 12:03 PM for 20 minutes

(Not during School Holidays unless arranged)
(* Or Dads or Grandparents or Carers)
Term Time only
Every Tuesday at 9:30 AM for 2 hours
Wednesday
Wednesday Cafe
Drop in for tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat.. A quieter cafe, aimed at the retired but open to all
Every Wednesday at 10:35 AM for 1½ hours
Songs of Praise
Our 'Songs of Praise' service is usually held on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Church. The service is mainly traditional but not formal. It is usually about 35 minutes long and is followed by tea light refreshments, and chatter.
