Who we are
St Peter's is a joyous, caring Lutheran congregation located in the heart of downtown Preston, Cambridge in a beautiful traditional building. All are welcome to join our gathering each Sunday, to be strengthened and nurtured by Word and Sacrament. Our community is home to vibrant Sunday School and Confirmation Ministry programmes, running September through May, which employ many modes of teaching to invigorate the faith of children. Every Sunday service includes a children's message. We have active senior, junior and all-ages bell choirs along with youth group, Adult Bible Studies, Home Communion Ministry, and many active ministries. Our annual Vacation Bible School serves close to 100 children from across Waterloo Region. We highlight music as a gift to God's glory, hosting many concerts here, open to the ecumenical and secular community alike. In response to the love of God in Jesus for each of us, we do our best to share our love with those in our congregation and our community.
