Who we are
Part of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto. St. Stephen's, Maple is a Christian community in the making. We like to think of St. Stephen’s as both old and new. On the one hand, seeking to build new relationships in our neighbourhood and to serve those around us with open hearts and minds, but on the other hand being deeply rooted in Anglican tradition and connected to the history of our church.
All are welcome at St. Stephens. Whether you come with great faith or great doubt, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or marital status, whatever your financial status or housing situation – we hope you can find a home with us as we explore together what it means to follow Jesus

St. Stephen's Anglican Church Service Times
Weekly Services
5pm Eucharist
We gather as a community around the Lord’s table, joining together in prayer, singing, and the reading of scripture. Deeply rooted in tradition and the sacrament of Holy Communion but offered in the accessible language of the Book of Alternative Services, our evening service is a vibrant family-friendly experience of worship. We have a play area in the sanctuary for parents and young children as well as weekly youth and children’s ministry programs.
Following the service, we gather for a free community dinner in our parish hall, as we get to know one another and explore the endless connections between the Lord’s table and our dinner table.
All are welcome.
It's been more than 3 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Under 12s:
Children’s Ministry is offered during the 5pm service in the parish hall. Parents are invited to drop their children off before the service begins. Children will engage in discussion and activities related to the Scripture readings of the day, and will return to their parents in time for communion.
At St. Stephen’s, we understand children to be an integral part of the worship we offer each week. Children of any age are welcome to remain in the service, and there is an area in the sanctuary set up with books, quiet toys, and colouring supplies for children and caregivers. Whatever our age, we seek to learn together what it means to follow Jesus Christ, and we believe that everyone who calls St. Stephen’s home is called to share with us in ministry.

Give me a steadfast heart
Give me, O Lord, a steadfast heart which no unworthy thought can drag downwards; an unconquered heart which no tribulation can wear out; an upright heart which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside. Bestow upon me also, O Lord my God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
