Who we are
Welcome to the Miramar Peninsula Anglican Parish!
We cover the suburbs of Miramar, Seatoun & Strathmore. Whether you’re new to Christian faith, have had some time away, or are just looking, we hope there’s something here for you.
We welcome everyone. You don’t even have to be a Christian!
Our parish is made up of two churches, situated on Wellington’s beautiful Miramar Peninsula: St George’s in Seatoun, and St Aidan’s in Miramar. Our two churches are home to a wide range of services and activities.
On Sundays, our worship services take place at 8am and 10am at St Aidan’s, Miramar. St George’s Church hosts our new "Participatory" Worship on the 1st Sunday of the month.

Under 12s:
Children’s Church
Every Sunday during term time Children’s Church meets for stories, games, hands-on activities, drama, and crafts. Through these activities we explore together how to live out the Christian life and values of Jesus. Children’s Church focuses on values such as compassion, kindness, love, forgiveness, as well as respect for others and for the environment.
Children’s Church takes place during the regular 10 am service at Saint Aidan’s. Children begin in the adult service before being led out for a half-hour kid’s programme. The whole church then regroups to share communion.
There are four age groups: pre-school, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12.
