Who we are
We really welcome you! As an evangelical church serving our local multicultural community and situated right opposite to the new Suffolk College and University we believe that it is the preaching of God's Word that changes lives; so that is central in our worship. Do come and visit us if you are in this area - we would love to see you!
We are a relatively small but welcoming church in the heart of Ipswich. Our congregation is diverse and we are blessed to have members from many countries of the world. In many respects our church represents the diverse, urban community in which God has placed us.
Our heartfelt desire is to see growth particularly with people from the immediate area joining us!
Our church is Bible centered with the focus on strong reformed Bible teaching complimented by a love of worshiping God through music and song, learning about Him through His Word and communion with Him through individual and group prayer.
At the core of our work is a keen desire to reach out to the local community with the good news of Jesus Christ.
To achieve this we are active in various evangelistic outreach including; events and special services, the Sunday School, children’s holiday clubs, parents and toddlers work, handing out leaflets during local events and some door to door work.
In all this we recognise the need for continuous prayer for the blessing of the Holy Spirit in all we do to support and produce fruit from this work.
