| Frank Hamer was a man of simple beliefs. He believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Resurrection and in God's love for the human race. Called to God's work early in life, but not ordained until age 42, Frank devoted his whole life to Christ. | |
| Frank grew to love God early in life. Due to the early death of his father, Frank continued working in order to raise his younger siblings and to support his mother. It was only on his mother's death when Frank was 41 years old that he was able to follow his true vocation into the ministry. Frank married Emily, his childhood sweetheart and they raised three children - Stephen, John and Graham - in a loving and Christian environment. Supported by Emily in all his endeavours, Frank was a popular vicar, wherever his ministry took him. God called him at last to rest in 1984 and Emily has since joined him in paradise. | |
