Who we are
New Harvest Church strives to be a loving community of discipled believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, Biblical study, service, and fellowship while promoting peace, hope, justice, and the saving grace of God to all people in our community and the world.
Our mission statement is based on the following values and goals we share as a community of believers in the grace, exclusivity, and Lordship of the divine Jesus Christ. We recognize these values are realized through dependence on God via the Holy Spirit.
Values
Life transformation through the Gospel Peace within the individual, church and with our neighbours Love in action for God, church family, and our neighbours Recognition of and respect for the value of all, as all are created in the image of God Discipleship of the believer producing maturity and works for the Kingdom God’s commission to proclaim the Gospel worldwide and seek justice for the poor and oppressed worldwide
Goals
To be a family of believers in Jesus Christ who serve each other and Scotland, Brant, Canada and the world through the Gospel and the love of God. To grow in maturity, peace and hope through Holy Spirit led discipleship. To frequently and consistently gather for worship, discipleship and fellowship as small groups in our homes and as a whole at Scotland Community Centre. To welcome the curious and seeker at all stages of life and belief with respect and love. To commit up to 50% of our resources to serve the poor and oppressed in Canada and/or the world.

Give me a stout heart
Give me a stout heart to bear my own burdens. Give me a willing heart to bear the burdens of others. Give me a believing heart to cast all burdens upon Thee, O Lord.
